our Visitation Services
Intake Session
Before the first supervised visit, a 20-30 minute intake session is conducted with the child(ren) and their primary caregiver. This helps the child become familiar with the supervisor and allows parents to share important care details, such as medical conditions, allergies, and special needs. The intake session takes place at the same venue as the first supervised visit.This is priced at a one-time fee of $150.
Supervised Visitation
Supervised visits take place at a mutually agreed venue, typically close to the child’s home. If no agreement is reached, the agency will determine the location. Supervisors always remain within sight and earshot of the child and the visiting parent, intervening only if the child’s safety or well-being is at risk.For babies and toddlers, the primary caregiver must provide snacks, drinks, and nappy-changing supplies. The visiting parent will take over this responsibility after 5-6 sessions. Supervisors accompany children during toileting as per court orders.
The prices are as follows:
Weekdays - $90 per hr
Weekends - $100 per hr
Public Holidays - $120 per hr
Min. charge is 2 hrs per session.
Visitation Reporting
Each supervised visit has a report attached. These reports are usually necessary as evidence in court proceedings but are optional.Whittlesea Family Services recommends paying for these during each visit so the report is clear in the supervisor's mind as the facts have presented themselves to ensure your visitation report reflects the most detail possible.
Each session report is $30. This can be immediate or after the fact.

Helping transitions occur smoothly.
Whittlesea Family Services facilitates smooth and conflict-free changeovers by carefully staggering the arrival and departure times of both parents. This ensures that they do not come into direct contact, reducing the risk of tension or disputes. Parents will receive clear instructions via email outlining the designated drop-off and pick-up times, as well as specific procedures to follow.Changeover Fee:
Weekday - $50 per change over
Weekends - $60 per change over
Public Holiday $70 per change over
